Taking the plunge

I finally did it!

After almost a year of working in the world of publishing, I am saying goodbye to my position as Editorial Assistant for Real Living Magazine.  It has been an exciting  journey, but I am parking my car and travelling on foot through the road less travelled.

It is scary as hell, resigning.  But I leave the security of a full-time day job in the pursuit of what makes me happy - crafting.  If I fail and starve, so be it.  Trying and failing is better than not having the courage to try at all.

On April 21, I will become a full-time entrepreneur...

and I will be happy.

Yey!

  11. Congrats! I know how hard it is to leave the comfort and security that a regular job provides, but I assure you, being your own boss not only is fulfilling, you get to take ownership of your work. I also took "The Plunge" almost two years ago and I never regretted it.

You've always been a visionary; one of the few people I've met who has that special knack for business. A 9-5 job ain't you, gurl! Hehe. :)

    Best of luck to you!
