She won best in costume (along with 5 others)! She's a little over a year old raw. Wawa naman, walang kamuwang-muwang. And her pumpkin bag is soooo tiny, the candies won't fit in there!
3 reasons why I have never gone trick or treating:
1. I don't live in Ayala Alabang.
2. Hindi pa uso ang Trick or Treat sa Pilipinas when i was a kid.
3. If there ever was Trick or Treat when I was a kid, my parents wouldn't have let me join because we almost had no neighbors. Meaning, i would have had to walk a certain number of miles to the next house. (Exagg naman ako. hehe).
Since I missed out on what I believe is an essential part of childhood, I resolved to witness this event first hand this year. (Though there was Trick or Treat last year, I missed it because I was still in college. Meaning, I spent the best part of October completing requirements for delinquent subjects. Typical me.)
While kids received loads of candies in their pumpkin shaped loot bags, I too got my hakot of goodies: cool pictures of cute kids in freaky halloween costume!

cute, anj! :) i went trick or treating only once. at 2nd yr high school na ko nun ha. hahaha. went with 2 of my friends from the same village, spur-of-the-moment. dami namin goodies! awww...wanna do it again. :)

ReplyDeletegusto ko nga sumama kay Gianni kahapon eh! shet. as in tumambay talaga ko sa labas ng house para makita yung kids. Dami nila, hirap nga kumuha ng pics e. Favorite ko si the Grudge, naka Grrr pose talaga siya! hahaha.

ReplyDeleteas in, 2nd yr. frustrated tlga so we grabbed the op! haha! bday party ng kapitbahay namin na kiddo, oct31. so kids' costume party pa yun ha. attend kami shempre, u know, close-knit community. :)
ReplyDeletei went as a kid: jumper, sandamakmak na lollipop nasugat na dila ko, pigtails, skates. yung neon green yung gulong. at duguan na ko pag-uwi dahil sumemplang ako sa may gate ng village. ganun lang pero sayang walang pic. :(
ay, may halloween party kami on tues. family friends. hahaha. kita mo na, pati grownups frustrated din! wait for the pics, sana game lahat. hehehe.

Tita ko naka Witch hat, isa siya sa judges. funny! ako may green mask, pero nasuffocate ako so tinanggal ko nalang. lol. uuuy, daya kayo may costume party? balak nga namin sa office magcostume on tuesday eh. trip trip lang. good luck kasi nasa mall kami, kakahiya! hahaha.

ReplyDeletekahapon lang natapos. andami nagpunta! and most of them are not from this village. parang every year, dumadami yun mga nagppunta dito. yung pila ng mga visitor cars, its getting longer every year! hahaha! :)
