Turista Magazine feature
We are so honored to be featured in a travel magazine!
Turista Magazine is published by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, in cooperation with the Manila International Airport Authority, and distributed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The article was published two months ago, but we just found out about it this week because an artist from Finland attended one of our workshops after reading the magazine. :)
Thank you to Ms. Nisha Alicer, the writer, and Ms. Pia Puno, the photographer, for this wonderful opportunity. :)

An excerpt:
"So don’t let the wild parties with the wild hipsters scare you... The party girls, skater boys, musicians, culture vultures, artists and academics— and yes, even the quiet girls like me— flock to Cubao X because we have one thing in common: we seek pleasure from the extraordinary." - Camille Pilar

Pretty Little Things on Martha Stewart Weddings - Philippines
I can finally spill! I've been keeping quiet about this for 6 months!
Please buy a copy of Martha Stewart Weddings - Philippines March-August 2010 issue. My yummy cart and Pretty Little Things line are in the Vintage Advantage story, pages 100 to 106. Yay!
How it happened:
The ladies from Martha Stewart Weddings happened to pass by my new shop in Cubao Expo in August of last year, and saw my cart and the tiny little jars I use to display my charms. They thought it would be perfect for a story they were doing, so one sunny August day, my cart, my assistant, and I trooped to the Summit studio for a shoot.
It was fun seeing the Yummy Cart being gussied up. Hehe. And it's not everyday you get a sneak peek into the world of MSW - I enjoyed every minute of the shoot!
I am super happy.
I would like to thank the wonderful ladies behind MSW, for giving me this opportunity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The Beadlady interview Nov. '09
Have you been to our shop in Cubao Expo? If you haven't yet, here's a sneak peek! This is Part 1 of the Nov. '09 interview.
This is probably the most comprehensive interview I've given, and I am deeply grateful to the staff of the show Negosyo Atbp. for giving me the opportunity.
Because the show is in Filipino, I was asked to answer in Filipino. Mahirap pala yun when you're talking about polymer clay. There are words with no tagalog equivalent. lol.
Thank you to Achie Joyce of BBB for the referral, and for recording this video!

Real Living Jan/Feb feature
A wonderful feature - and a complete surprise!
I bought the magazine just because I always buy RL. Imagine my surprise when I saw my stuff on a couple of pages! A few months back, I did get a text that they were using a few of my cupcakes for a shoot, but I didn't know what the shoot was for, so it completely slipped my mind. The cafe mention is a complete surprise altogether.
Thank you Real Living!

Total Girl Nov 09 feature
A couple of months ago, I was excited to receive an email from Total Girl magazine saying they read the Our Awesome Planet feature, and they'd like to feature the new cafe for their "So Hot Right Now" section. They were going to bring a young TG reader to the shop to do a review on our shop offerings and services.
I was super excited, but scared too, because of the review!
So I was very happy when I saw page 8 of this month's TG issue!
Here's an excerpt from the review:
"Famous for their pendants and charms that look exactly like cute cupcakes and other sweet treats... it's the sweetest accessory shop in the Metro!" - Maita de Jesus, Total Girl Magazine Editorial Assistant and Disney's Princess Magazine Editor in Chief
"[This cafe] is so cool because you can be creative in making and decorating your own accessories..." - Nina Isabel, 11 years old, TG reader
Grab a copy of Total Girl November 09 ish to read the entire feature.
Special thanks to the writer, Ms. Maita de Jesus and the photographer, Dakila Angeles.

My studio featured in Real Living Oct 09
I revamped my workstation (at home) earlier this year, and if you've been reading my blog over at Confessions of the Chronic Crafter, you've probably seen pictures.
The photos got the attention of Managing Ed Tisha Alvarez, so they trooped to my place in Pasig last July for a photoshoot.
This month, Real Living features 3 creative spaces, and my small livingroom-turned-craft room is one of the featured spaces, along with Team Manila's studio in Makati, and designer Enan Almado's atelier. So happy!
My walls are actually tiffany blue, not turquoise. hehe.
Thank you Real Living for the cool feature. Special thanks to Managing Editor Tisha Alvarez, Style Editor Coni Tejada, and photographer/Lomo King At Maculangan! :)
More photos from my other computer to be uploaded later.
(Hoping to get copies of the outtakes from the shoot)
Please grab a copy or Real Living Oct. 09! :)
Mydesignfolder Blog Feature
Yay another blog about the cafe! Thank you thank you!
I have been without an internet connection for weeks now. When I finally logged in, it was a surprise to find the shop featured in another blog.
Thank you editors!

Entrepreneur Nov 08
I started reading Entrepreneur Magazine when I was 17, and it played a big part in my journey to becoming an entrepreneur. I never thought that six years later, I'll be in the magazine! Dream come true! Thank you Entrepreneur Mag Philippines!
It took so long to upload this because I do not have a copy of my own, I gave mine to my lola, who didn't want to give it back! lol. She can't even read anymore, her eyes have grown blurry. That's her in the last pic.
*Fellow crafty entrepreneurs from Microminds were also featured, woohoo! Congrats!
Umagang Kay Ganda
Call time was 4:30am, I didn't sleep a wink of course!
Shot at the ABS-CBN compound, and aired live on January 8, 2009.
Will blog about it soon, can't right now, I got sick from the rain :(
Thanks to Ms. Ria from UKG.

Cosmo September
Someone told me she saw my stuff in Cosmo this month, so I hurriedly scanned this month's issue... and found my coasters on page 218!
Big thanks to the writer!
Photo of coasters taken by Ocs Alvarez, styled by Gwyn Guanzon.
Also featured in Real Living October 2006, and August 2007.

Yey, my teeny tiny shoe necklace is on Seventeen! And the mini havies too!
Big thanks to Ms. Tisha Alvarez of Seventeen mag.
Angeli's Art Beads for Smart Parenting
A few months ago, I was asked to write/style a DIY article for Smart Parenting mag. It was such a fun and crazy shoot, what with three super hyper kids, and uber fun DIY projects! And here it is at last!
Here are snapshots of the feature. The article's about pretend-play activities you can easily do at home. It's filled with crafty projects and DIY stuff.
Please see page 40 of SP's September issue for a full-page DIY polymer clay project you can do with your kids.
